Second Day

Today, we started the day by collecting our ideas and brainstorming different solutions. We had many different ideas that ranged from a garden to disc golf.  We fleshed out each idea and had quite a few choices to make before we could move on.

Here are some of the ideas that we brainstormed. The idea that we selected to pursue for our final solution is a variation of the game tether ball. We fleshed out the idea so that there are two poles and the people are trying to hit the ball to the other person's pole.

This game could be a two or more person game and would require people to come together to play the game. We were able to present our idea and receive feedback from our peers. We received positive feedback and people were excited to see where we can take our idea.

First Day

For our final project in the Axis STEM core we are redesigning a community space to be more inclusive and engaging to the community. We were able to meet our teams and were assigned the area that we will be working on for the next month. I received Kesier Park and my team consists of Jason, Sara, Kyle, Monique, Brianna, Robby, and Chris as seen below.


We will begin to brainstorm our ideas and hope that we can find a solution that meets of needs of the community and helps to improve the park.
